She worked as a Medicare Sales Representative selling and promoting the Individual Kaiser Senior Advantage Plans, and eventually moved into her current role as a Group Medicare Account Manager where she provides Medicare education and employer consultation on retiree health plan options and strategies. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente,Charina worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with a leading global pharmaceutical company. She also worked as a Health & Wellness Coordinator with the largest Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan carrier in the islands, as well as a Health Education Coordinator at an outpatient health education center in Honolulu servicing patients with chronic health conditions.  She has worked in the health care industry for 23 years and understands that the ever-changing landscape of health care can sometimes be so confusing. With her expertise in the Medicare line of business, she will provide you with valuable information on the basics of Medicare and what an employer should know to better provide their employees with options, guidance and direction.
