Modern Management of Stroke in 2019Queen's Speaking of Health lecture (FREE) - Wed., May 29, 2019   Every 40 seconds, someone has a stroke in the U.S.; and stroke is a leading cause of serious long-term disability, according to the American Heart Association. May is National Stroke Awareness Month. Learn about stroke and what’s new in prevention, research and treatment with Rony Salem, MD, vascular neurologist and neurohospitalist at The Queen’s Medical Center.   • Signs of stroke• Stroke risk factors• Changes in treating stroke in the first 24 hours• Modern strategies for stroke prevention• New areas of research and possible future treatments   Space is limited. Reservations are required.
